Conspiracy Theory 5 - Cell phone calls made from the planes were faked.
How can cell phones calls be made from altitudes as high as 3200 feet? Another conspiracy theory has arisen with the point that cell phone calls made from the planes were faked. From the hijacked airplanes (whilst in flight), passengers and airline staff were calling home to loved ones and airline cooperation's, on cell phones. This is believed to be impossible as cell phones cannot receive reception from such a high altitude that the planes fly at. Also many of the conversations that were said to have taken place, are highly suspicious.
Many of the conversations made on cell phones from the planes were only a couple of sentences long; making it very suspicious. For those of the conversations that went for a longer period of time; only minutes of them were recorded. An example of this would be Betty Ong's conversation. She was a flight attendant who placed a call from flight 11. Her conversation lasted 23 minutes, but yet only four and half minutes was recorded. From hearing the recorded conversation; it is peculiar at the fact that there is no screaming in the background from other passengers or any horror in her voice at all; and yet she is on a plane that has just been hijacked. This doubts the cell phone conversations made, even more; as the public were only able to hear five minutes of a 20 minute conversation. Where is the rest of it hiding?
Another suspicious fact is the unknown or incorrect statements being made by Madeline Sweeney - another flight attendant on flight 11. She claimed there to be four hijackers; when the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation), said there was five. She also stated that the hijackers were seated in completely different rows from what the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration), said. Lastly, she stated she could see "water and buildings", and for some reason she didn't know where she was. Madeline Sweeney had been a flight attendant out of Boston for over 12 years; you would think she would have recognized New York.
Another strange cell phone incident that happened, was a son contacting his mother. When calling his mother from the hijacked airline, he referred to himself by his own first and last name. Since when do you call your mother and use your full name?
None of these cell phone calls, (and many others), apart from Betty Ong's conversation; have been released to the public. What do the United States of America have to hide?
But all of this has to be fake. This is supported by research made and the results that have been conducted. A series of cell phones were taken in a plane to the altitude of 8000 feet to determine the success rate of cell phone calls, as the plane got higher. At the height of 3200 feet (the height at which the planes were flying at), there was less than a one in a hundredth of a chance, of successfully making and receiving calls. So how can the public believe that these phone calls made, are real? and how can they believe that these cell phone calls even took place? Because it is clear to see that all of these cell phone calls made; were faked.
